Ahlul Bayt News Agency, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei -- Ramadhan is the time of year when various religious events tend to be hosted by both individuals and organisations in the public and private sectors for the purpose of receiving multiple blessings.

An organisation that was established on March 28, 2010 the Kampung Kupang Womens Bureau held a khatam al-Quran in collaboration with the takmir committee members of the Kg Kupang Mosque for the benefit of residents of the area who frequent the mosque for prayers.

The ceremony began with the recitation of surah al-fatihah, followed by an ayat lazim recitation by a participant.

The ceremony was further enlivened by a Dikir Marhaban performance.

The wife of the Tutong Acting Officer, Dayang Wanida Wati binti Tamat, presented certificates to the participants.
