Saudi Wahhabi Security Forces Arrested 5 Shi'a Citizens

On 2 January , Saudi security forces detained five Shiite citizens out of the list of 23 wanted Shiite Muslims issued by the Interior Ministry on Monday who are accused of taking part in peaceful demonstrations taking place in the city of Qatif in 2011 .

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - On 2 January , Saudi security forces detained three Shiite citizens out of the list of 23  wanted Shiite Muslims issued by the Interior Ministry on Monday who are accused of taking part in peaceful demonstrations taking place in the city of Qatif in 2011 .

The detainees are : Hussain Ali Abdullah al-Brraki; Shah Ali Al Shokan, from Tarout Island; Mosa Ja'far Mohammad al-Mabyouq.

The Saudi interior ministry has alleged that the three of those detained  have surrendered themselves to security authorities, while witnesses said that the security forces raided their homes and arrested them.

The spokesman of Interior Ministry Mansour Turki said that two others had detained.
