(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Local officials say the explosions took place in Pirkoh area of the Dera Bugti district early Sunday morning, halting the supply to the region’s purification units.

Security forces have cordoned off the area for further investigation.

A security guard was also injured in a separate attack against a gas supply unit in Dera Bugati’s Sui area carried out by armed militants.

Although no group has claimed responsibility for the explosions, authorities say Separatist Baloch groups carried out the attack.

Balochistan has the largest reserves of natural gas and mineral wealth in Pakistan. Baloch rebels say they want greater political autonomy and a share of the province's natural resources.
