(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The 8th edition of the International Congress of Mahdism Doctrine is set to be held on July 5 and 6 with the participation of a number of the country’s officials and university professors.

The congress will be held at the IRIB International Conference Hall on July 5-6.

Speakers of the opening ceremony include Ayatollah Mohyeddin Ha’eri Shirazi, eminent seminary teacher; Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani; and Seyyed Hassan Firouzabadi, head of the country’s Armed Forces General Committee.

Also, Gholam Ali Haddad Adel, Tehran’s representative in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, is expected to give the concluding speech on July 6.

The congress’s press conference is planned to be held on July 2 with the presence of Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Masoud Pourseyyed Aghaee, secretary of the congress; and Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Hassan Zamani, international deputy of seminaries and secretary of the congress’s forum on Islamic Awakening.
