(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Dr Ramahi made his statements during an interview, 10 days after his release from Israeli occupation prisons, saying that "there are two major obstacles facing the reconciliation.

The first obstacle mentioned by Dr. Mahmoud is represented in the political orientation of the Palestinian Authority, which closed all options of confronting occupation except negotiations, and which runs against the political program of Hamas. The second obstacle lies in the strange behavior followed by the security services and the ongoing violations of public freedoms by PA", through the political arrests and summonses.

Concerning the escalation of the arrest campaigns and the suppression of freedoms in the West Bank, he stated: "Unfortunately, the occupied West Bank is under military rule", which has been always doomed, said Ramahi pointing to the demise of the military rule in the Arab and Islamic states.

As for the local election, the date of which had been determined by Fayyad's government, the Secretary of the Legislative Council said that Hamas movement will be boycotting it, and noted that Fayyad's government made such announcement in an attempt to distract the parties and the public from two important files which are Yasser Arafat's assassination and the financial deficit and corruption inside Ramallah authority.
