Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to the United Nations Abdullah al-Mouallimi said his country strongly condemns al-Qaeda’s terrorist operations in Syria.

In an interview, al-Mouallimi said Riyadh welcomes any positive move in resolving Syrian crisis.

He made the remarks while asked about Tehran-Riyadh cooperation to settle Syria’s crisis.

He reiterated that Riyadh condemns any terrorist activities anywhere in the world.

The Saudi envoy noted that continuation of the conflicts in the Syrian cities has prepared the ground for the terrorist operations by al-Qaeda.
