(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - "Repenting for our sins can solve all the problems,"said the Islamic Jurisprudents, Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi.

Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi expressed his condolence over the anniversary of Imam Ali's (PBUH) martyrdom and urged Muslims to follow his path in their lives.

"If you take your step in a way in which you are alone, do not be intimidated and rely on God's help," the grand Ayatollah quoted Imam Ali (PBUH) as saying.

The senior cleric pointed to the 8 years of Imposing Iran-Iraq war and said," there were some people who do not defend this country even for a day."

"Those people who do not take part in the war or even in rallies ( after the revolution of Islamic Republic of Iran) were not real Muslim and waste all their other good deeds," Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi underscored.

The grand Ayatollah urged Muslims to repent for their sin in the 'Nights of Glory'( Ghadr nights) and underscored," repenting for our sins can solve all the problems."
