(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Thousands of people in Gaza have participated in a massive rally on Friday to mark the international Jerusalem Day.

The rally, organized by national and Islamic forces in Gaza, kicked off after the Friday congregation where the participants raised the Palestinian flag and banners in support of Jerusalem.

Dr. Rabah Muhanna, member of the political bureau of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, affirmed that Jerusalem liberation could not be achieved through “absurd negotiations”.

Muhanna called on PA president Mahmoud Abbas to stop negotiations and security coordination with the occupier and to unify efforts to face the occupation's crimes.

He insisted on armed resistance as the top and only national option for the liberation of the Palestinian land, stressing the Palestinian national constants.

Muhanna called on the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) to stop useless negotiations with the Israeli occupation that harm the Palestinian cause, stressing the need to end the Palestinian division.
