Iranian envoy, Orthodox patriarch hold talks

Iran's Ambassador to Syria Ahmad Mousavi has met with Orthodox Patriarch Ignatius IV of Antioch to discuss unity between Muslims and Christians.

Iran's Ambassador to Syria Ahmad Mousavi has met with Orthodox Patriarch Ignatius IV of Antioch to discuss unity between Muslims and Christians.

During the meeting that was held in Damascus on Wednesday the two sides underlined mutual respect that exists between the two divine religions.

Ignatius IV told that Muslims and Christians have many similarities in their behavior and culture.

He noted that Muslims and Christians live peacefully besides each other in Iran and Syria thanks to the friendship that exists between the believers of the two religions.
