 Majlis Speaker to Address “Gaza, Symbol of Resistance” Conference

Majlis (parliament) speaker Ali Larijani is to deliver a lecture at the conference on the developments of Palestine after the 22-day war in Gaza.
A number of national and international political figures, including board members of the Society for Defending the Palestinian Nation will attend the event.
January 19 has been named by the Iranian Majlis as the day of “Gaza, Symbol of Palestinians’ Resistance”.
More than 1,400 Palestinians, mostly civilians, were killed and many more wounded in the Zionist regime’s 22-day invasion of Gaza in December 2008-January 2009. The Zionist regime was finally defeated by Palestinians’ resistance movement and forced to withdraw from Gaza on January 19, 2009.
