According to Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA),  Announcing this, head of the provincial Islamic Propagation Organization Masoud Safiyari told the inaugural ceremony that the event seeks to strengthen the spirit of unity and bring the religions closer and take advantage of scientific capacities to promote unity.

The conference will be held in the four categories of the role of religious preachers in creating unity, exploring the obstacles of solidarity among the Islamic tribes and faiths, blessings of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei’s trip to the province and its role in strengthening unity and adherence to the regime’s red lines in the words of the Supreme Leader and Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Revolution.

Putting the total number of articles submitted to the event at 80, he noted that five articles have been submitted from abroad, 55 from the province itself and 20 from other Iranian provinces.

Ten top works will be awarded at the closing ceremony, he went on to say.

Some 450 Shiite and Sunni scholars as well as 10 guests from Nigeria, Tajikistan, Bangladesh, Sudan, Ivory Coast, Indonesia, Afghanistan and Bosnia are present at the event.

The one-day event was organized on the threshold of the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
