8,000 Female Seminary Students Attended Quranic Competitions

8,000 female seminary students attended Quranic competitions this year (Iranian year ending March 21), said educational and cultural deputy of women’s seminaries.

According to Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA),  Hojat-ol-Islam Ghandi added that many of the students have won titles in the contests at the regional and national levels.

He said that most of the students took part in the categories of translation of the Quran and Quranic concepts.

Referring to the Quranic activities of students in women’s seminaries, he said that a festival was held earlier this year to honor Quran activists among female seminarians.

“Selected students from 110 women’s seminaries were honored during the festival,” he went on to say.
