(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - According to al Wasat web site amid rising of tension, and the request of doctors who severely attacked by police when treating the injured, the Bahrain's health minister resigned.

According to ABNA correspondent in the area, during a violent rage by the army against the oppressed protesters, a number of innocent people martyred including 5 children. Also more than 15 Men and Women martyred defying their legitimate rights.

Police surrounded the central Pearl Square roundabout where the protesters had camped out during the night and used tear gas and opened fire without warning about 3 am (0000 GMT), witnesses told the German Press Agency dpa.

Police has closed down the area between the square and Salamnyia hospital, witnesses said, adding that the atmosphere remained "very tense."
