(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A rally protesting the film Innocence of Muslims has begun near the U.S. embassy in Bishkek.
"America boasts about its democracy, but it is waging a real war between religions. This film is an indicator of religious feud," parliamentarian Tursubnabi Bakir, the organizer of the rally, told reporters.
The protesters will issue an address, which will be given to U.S. Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Pamela Spratlen.
Despite the current problems, there is no religious feud in Kyrgyzstan, which cannot be said about the U.S., the parliamentarian said.
The rally has some 100 participants, an Interfax correspondent has reported. The police have tightened security at the embassy. The U.S. diplomats' reaction is not known yet.
