Judiciary chief slams western countries for contradictory stance on Bahrain
Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani on Wednesday castigated western states for their contradictory stance on the issue of Bahrain.
(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - According to the Public Relations Department of the Judiciary, Larijani made the remarks in a meeting with top judicial officials on Wednesday.
Saudi Arabia has started a very dangerous game in Bahrain, he said adding that since the Bahraini people do not want to give up their legitimate rights, the western states have started a new dangerous game in the region but "We hope western officials would adopt rationality and leave Bahraini people alone," he said.
Referring to recent parliamentary elections in Syria in which over 50 percent of eligible voters took part, he criticized the West’s double standard policies on regional developments.
